Kimono Recycle Ome きものリサイクル青梅 specializes in recycled kimomo products made in Ome, Japan. The concept to use recycled kimono evolved from a culture change in Japan – kimono and yukata are no longer worn on a daily basis as in traditional times; modern Japan considers these items as disposable – and kimonos and yukatas can be rented for minimal investment.

Kimono Recycle Ome wants to change the shape of the garments but stay connected to the tradition and culture of kimono. And, why throw away a stained garment filled with memories? Instead, revive it!
